No. It checks the links found on the single URL you submit, the same way a page-level browser extension would. It does not follow those links to scan additional pages.
Errors mean the checker never received an HTTP status — for example a DNS failure, timeout, or a private/local address that we refuse to request. Broken means the server responded with a 4xx or 5xx status.
Yes. To keep scans fast we check up to 180 unique links per page. If a page has more, the report notes that the list was truncated.
The scan only makes ordinary GET/HEAD requests, similar to a visitor loading the page and then requesting each linked URL. It does not change your site, submit forms, or send your data to search engines.
